Kids Yoga Classes
Ashley brings over a decade of experience as an elementary classroom teacher to her children’s yoga offerings. Throughout her years in the classroom — including extensive work supporting students with diverse learning needs and special needs — she saw how many children were navigating big emotions, anxiety, and challenges with self-regulation.
When she began weaving yoga and mindfulness into her school day, she noticed something powerful: it helped. Children became more grounded, more confident, and more connected to their bodies and feelings.
Ashley’s kids yoga classes are joyful, student-led, and rooted in play. This isn’t yoga the way adults practice it — there’s no pressure to be still or quiet for long stretches. Instead, children explore movement through imagination, storytelling, creativity, and choice. They might become animals, travel through magical landscapes, practice breathing with a favorite stuffed friend, or even help invent the poses themselves.
Her background in elementary education allows her to meet children exactly where they are. She creates an inclusive, flexible environment where every child — regardless of ability, temperament, or learning style — feels safe, capable, and celebrated.
Through playful movement and gentle mindfulness, Ashley helps children build emotional awareness, self-trust, and body confidence — all while having fun.

Each day, young yogis explore exciting themes through yoga, meditation, breathwork, storytelling, and creative mindfulness activities. With engaging crafts, a daily dose of fresh air, and playful movement, kids learn to regulate their bodies and emotions while making new friends. This nurturing experience fosters confidence, self-awareness, and a love for mindful movement in a supportive and joyful environment. 'Young Yogis' is a yoga class for kids aged 9-12. Enhance body awareness and flexibility through age-appropriate poses, breathwork and meditation. Learn self-calming, emotional recognition, and visualization techniques for inner peace and resilience.
